Ahhhh, Vacation at last

Ahhhh, it feels so wonderful to have time to relax! It will be so nice to enjoy Christmas without the stress of school.
Maddison Grace Happ is turning one tomorrow, and Johnny and I are going to the Happ's house for her birthday party...I can't believe that she is one already!  After the party John and I are heading up the mountains to Mom and Dad Compton's for a few days and then we will be spending a few days with Mom and Dad Robinson, Laura, Aaron, Landon and Lincoln Murray. We can't wait to spend time with those nephews of ours :)
We hope that everyone has a happy, safe, blessed holiday!

Love,
Em and John

Thanksgiving and Tree Cutting

Wow, what a wonderful Thanksgiving!
John and I have so very much to be thankful for..we are realizing more and more how blessed we are with the life we have.  It was wonderful to spend Thanksgiving day with John's side of our family (Bob, Gloria, & Sam) and we got to cut our Christmas tree too!!  Then the day after we went to my mom and dads house where we got to spend some time with my Auntie Brenda, Uncle Rich, and my brother Gene.  It was so satisfying this vacation to have quality time with people I love so dearly.

So for a school update, I officially have eight days of class left (three in Clinical at the hospital and five in actual class) and then I am done with my first semester of Nursing school!!!! Yea!!!!!! One down, three to go :)

Love you all very much,
Em

Blissfully Married for 4 years!! John manages a factory for a company called Rescue 42 where they make rescue equipment, and Emily isn't working but is attending the R.N. program at Butte College. We have been living in Chico for seven years now and have been so incredibly blessed with having both of our families nearby (Lake Almanor area)and a fantastic group of friends who get together at least once a week for a Bible study (or to watch the office or play Catan) :). We are both loving life and feel that God has given much more than we could have ever imagined.
